| Hello my family and friends! It has been a long time since I have logged into the Xanga world. And for that, I appologize. Wow do I miss everyone. I feel that the phrase "keep in touch" is slowly fading. It is disturbing to think that I haven't seen some of you for nearly a year. How about we fix this problem?.. we could go on a picnic. Possibly grab a bite to eat and maybe see a movie. I don't know.. I am just hoping that one of these things will spark you interest enough to come visit me.
Since I haven't even been in contact with most of you recently, I want to play a little game. You should just leave your comments and criticism like usual, but after that you should share with me what you have been up to for the last while.
If you failed to read my previous post, I now live in Eau Claire. I am planning on attending either UW-Stout or UW-Eau Claire this fall. I am aiming for a major in Marketing and a minor in Music. This past year, I decided to take a year off after I received my high school diploma. I had planned to work all the time and make a ridiculous amount of money. This plan fell through shortly after I made that plan. I soon realized that I just plain suck at saving money. I am realizing this more every day. So if you could pray for me as I struggle in this situation, it would be greatly appreciated.
So being around so many non-Christians makes me realize just how lucky I am. In Eau Claire, I have made an uber amount of new friends. The majority of them though have no religious background. Many of them though are great individuals, with fairly strong morals. I am an extremely strong-willed person, so I am not one of those people that gives in to peer pressure. I think that is one of my strongest qualities. I am very thankful for it. But again, I will ask you to pray for people in general I guess. That they may be exposed to the truth and not be blinded by darkness.
Well friends, it is getting late. I am now going to attempt to revive the fading phrase.. keep in touch. I will hopefully talk and see you all in the near future. (fingers crossed) Goodbye for now.

| oh wow. last post.. July 30th. that is pretty ridiculous for me to do that. i am sorry. i hope that everyone is doing well. here are some of the things that i have been up to: i moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin. i started working at Hollister about a month ago.. i know.. not very Lukeyish. i do love my job very much though and especially the people that i work with. i entered a few poems that i wrote into a poetry contest on www.poetry.com . a couple of them were published. if you are interested in reading them, you can visit www.poetry.com and type my name in the search box. it is getting to that ridiculously late point.. so i think that this is my sign off. i will try to update more often. i love you all with a burning passion and miss you just as much. we will talk later. much love. lukey | | |
| hey everyone,
so it's been roughly two months since i posted last. which isn't a terrible thing right?.. i mean i was busy with the new job and with friends and with other websites like myspace and facebook. so i appologize for this though, and i will attempt to keep up in the xanga world also.
so here is the inside scoop into my life as of late: i got a job at subway in ladysmith, i went golfing today, i fell in like with this amazing girl named Lisa who isn't quite ready yet to feel the same way about me yet because of her previous relationship, i have become much closer to God since camp and hopefully many of you have too.. my camp flame is still burning bright, my friend backed up into my car with his truck.. so a new door was put on and it is the exact same color as my hood now (amazing), i have been writing a lot of poetry lately, while this took place.. Lisa asked me to write a poem to read at her sister's wedding which will be taking place on august 19th (i was glad to write one for her.. so glad that i layed down and didn't stop writing until it was finished), my nephew Brett is as cute as ever, i found a new love in reading (wasn't a big fan before), i made a big decision in college degree direction.. instead of persuing a business degree.. i am now going for an elementary education degree, and i also am pretty sure that i will be moving into an apartment in eau claire, wisconsin with a friend of mine from school. so that is it i think.. possibly not though.
well.. i love you all, but this is when i depart. but hey.. i love you all and God loves you even more then i do, so you will be alright.. i promise. i will talk to all of you amazing people soon enough. umm.. call me.

here's the scoop. i don't even so much know how to get to fargo yet.. so i will be going to Hochstetler's or Yoder's hoping that people will be home. so if you read this.. be home. i am planning on leaving here at about 2 (that 2 is definately in the p.m.) i am homesick already and i haven't left yet.. not a good sign. so anyways.. that is the plan as of now. if there is any objections.. call me before noon. thanks. so you soon. bye.

| hey everyone,
so.. i woke up yesterday morning and pondered on what i was going to do that day. i finally decided that i would attend a graduation ceremony. it turned out to be a pretty good choice. i was the one in my class who had to walk alone and be last... what are the odds? it was a pretty sweet deal. as i was the last one to be receiving my diploma, my friend Billy quickly pointed this out to me as i stood near the stage waiting to go up. jerk *cough*. so.. short story long, after graduation i had my graduation party at my house from 4-8. later that night we had project graduation from 9-5, yes.. 5 in the a.m! very tiring, yet very fun. i received a large cd/cassette player as a prize. overall, it was a very fun/eventful weekend. now it is almost time to start packing for the move. that's pretty much all that is going on as of now. i love you all, you smell good when it isn't 90 degrees and muggy out.. remember that.
p.s. Kayla.. what are the dates for the amazing/magnificent graduation party bash? i should probably know this.. it is kind of important. my computer won't allow me to check my mail of e... ooo gay. so yeah.. please give me a jingle or reply on here. thanks a bunch.
